Terms for Chartered Accountants

Listing

You may be listed once MyCA has reviewed the credentials you submit. You are responsible for the accuracy of everything on your profile, including your membership number, experience and areas of work.

Independence

You practise independently. MyCA does not employ you, supervise your work, or take responsibility for the advice you give. Your professional and regulatory obligations are unchanged by being listed here.

Pricing and commission

You set your own fee and consultation length for each service. MyCA retains a percentage of each consultation fee as platform commission. The rate in force when a booking is created is the rate that applies to that booking; a later change does not alter bookings already made.

Availability

Only the hours you open are bookable. The platform will not double-book you. If you need to cancel, do so through the platform so the customer is notified and refund handling follows the stated policy.

Suspension

MyCA may suspend a profile where a credential appears inaccurate, a complaint is under investigation, or these terms are breached. Suspension removes the profile from search. Existing bookings are flagged for review rather than silently cancelled.
